comScore: eCommerce Surges 46 Percent

Online consumer spending for the week ending March 20 reached $2.9 billion--up a robust 46 percent over the $2 billion spent during the corresponding week one year ago, comScore Networks reported Monday. Online travel sales for the week ending March 20 were up 46 percent over the corresponding week a year ago--reaching $1.3 billion from $906 million, comScore reported.
