Yahoo's Stolen Email Data Sold to Spammers

At least three different buyers have paid $300,000 each for a database containing one billion stolen Yahoo accounts, according to reports. Andrew Komarov, chief intelligence officer at InfoArmor, said that the hack was done by a group of four cybercriminals called Group E. He alleges that this group is selling the stolen data on the dark web. Yahoo has previously reported that the hack was a state sponsored attack.
