Kargo Names Adam Chandler Chief Business Officer

Kargo, a provider of mobile brand advertising, named Adam Chandler to the newly created role of chief business officer. Chandler will oversee Kargo’s revenue streams across its direct, programmatic, and self-service businesses. Based in New York, Chandler will report to Kargo Founder and CEO Harry Kargman.

Chandler joins Kargo from Rubicon Project, where he most recently served as SVP of revenue. Prior to Rubicon, Chandler held executive positions at Millennial Media, Jumptap, and Yahoo.

In November, Rubicon cut more than 120 people from its staff. Chandler wasn’t part of that cut, leaving more recently, along with Rubicon’s Jay Sears, the SVP of marketplace development, who took a job with Mastercard's media solutions group. Neal Richter, Rubicon’s chief technology officer, also left the company a month ago.
