41% of Young Adults in Michigan Text & Email While Driving

Forty-one percent of young adult drivers in Michigan admit to sending texts and emails regularly while driving, despite the fact that it is against the law. The numbers come from a statewide telephone survey conducted for the Office of Highway Safety Planning (OHSP). More than 26 percent of those surveyed said they did this daily.
