FBI's Account of DNC Hacked Differs From DNC

The DNC has said that the FBI never did an assessment of the group's breached servers and said that the FBI instead relied on information from private digital forensics firm Crowdstrike. But the FBI says this isn't true."The FBI repeatedly stressed to DNC officials the necessity of obtaining direct access to servers and data, only to be rebuffed until well after the initial compromise had been mitigated," a senior FBI law enforcement official told WIRED in an email.
