Self-Described Email Inventor Sues TechDirt for $15M

Dr. Shiva Ayyadurai, a tech pioneer who claims to have invented email, is suing tech news site TechDirt and its founder Mike Masnick for $15 million. The defamation case alleges that the site called him a "fake email inventor" and a "fraudster." and calls his claims to have invented the technology "bogus." Ayyadurai is being represented by Charles Harder, the Beverly Hills attorney that won the judgment against Gawker.
