Executives Spend 8 Hours a Week Responding to Email

Senior executives receive an average of 200 emails a day, according to Harvard Business Review, spending 8 hours a week responding to email. Unfortunately, about 25 percent of that time is spent reading emails that should have been sent to someone else and another 25 percent is spent responding to emails that the manager should never have answered. In other words, managers spend half a day a week dealing with unnecessary email.
