National Australia Bank Exposed Customer Data in Accidental Email

The National Australia Bank accidentally exposed the bank account details of 60,000 customers when sending an email to an email address controlled by a domain name squatter and owner of adult websites. The data breach occurred in 2012, but was first revealed last month. The company believes that the email wrongly sent to nab.com went to David Weissenberg, who owns domain names through his company Real Assets Limited.
