Intelligence Bill Drops Controversial Email Access Provision

The latest intelligence authorization bill has dropped a provision that would have given the government more access to American's browsing history and email records. The provision would have allowed the FBI to issue national security letters (NSLs) in order to access these communications records without requiring a court order.
