Many Retailers Miss the Mark on Email Metrics

Even though most retailers consider email to be a critical investment, many of these businesses aren't taking full advantage of the channel, according to a recent survey from Retail TouchPoints. The research revealed that 65 percent of retailers have goals to increase email rates, yet only 51 percent have succeeded in doing so. The survey also found that about 50 percent of consumers said that email was their preferred mode of receiving marketing messages.
