Facebook Ups Security to Prevent Email Hackers From Stealing Login Details

Facebook has introduced a new security tool with the hopes of preventing account fraud. The new feature adds an extra level of security to password recovery, so that having access to a user's email account is not enough. The newtwo-factor authentication approach is aimed at preventing a spammer that has already hacked into a users email account from accessing their Facebook account by changing their password. Now users will have to go through extra security layers to retrieve a lost password, making it harder for a hacker to break in.
