REVOLVING DOOR: Baldwin& Adds Four Staffers

Baldwin& is expanding its creative department with two art directors and two copywriters in order to manage its growing client base.

Nate Hinners is departing Possible Worldwide, Seattle to join as senior art director, working across accounts including Cree, Krispy Kreme, and Seventh Generation. He reports to agency co-founder and executive creative director Bob Ranew and replaces Jimmie Blount who left to join Austin-based Preacher.

Kory Brocious is named to the newly-created art director role and reports to Ranew. He has worked with accounts such as Reebok, Shell, Lamborghini, and Zaxby’s and was part of an award-winning team - One Show Silver Pencil - for the "Gender Inequality in the Military" campaign on behalf of nonprofit organization Protect our Defenders in 2016.

Michael Barbano is added to a newly created copywriter position, hailing from 22squared in Atlanta, where he was also a copywriter. His other experience includes stints at Barker and Iris Worldwide. Reporting to David Baldwin, Barbano will work on the Krispy Kreme, Cree and Ponysaurus Brewing accounts.

Lastly, Emily Bress also joins as a newly created copywriter having worked on accounts including Navy Federal Credit Union, Carrabba’s, Med Express, Quickrete, and Checkers & Rally’s. She reports to Baldwin.

All executives will be based at the 35-staffed agency's Raleigh, NC office.

"Our work with current clients is expanding," says David Baldwin, co-founder, CCO, Baldwin&. "Our people are everything and are what make this such a great place to work. So we've brought aboard a great mix of people who are completely on mission with what we are trying to do."
