Former TiVo Exec Named To Lead Advanced TV Effort


Video marketing tech firm Eyeview on Monday announced the appointment of Brian Katz as vice president, advanced TV insights and strategy, a newly created role. Katz is tasked with leading and implementing custom advanced TV efforts for Eyeview's retail, consumer packaged goods automotive, and travel clients.

Prior to joining Eyeview, Katz served as senior vice president of audience and purchaser insights at TiVo. He also held multiple roles at NBC Universal’s cable and distribution units. He began his career at Paramount Domestic Television supporting sales strategy and syndicated programming for UPN.

“Brian joins Eyeview at a key inflection point in video advertising, where marketers have become frustrated with legacy ad-serving platforms and traditional measurement. Our clients demand more creative personalizatin, financial accountability, and quite simply, results,” stated Jason Baadsgaard, chief revenue officer, Eyeview.

"As we listen to marketers, they are telling us they want more collaboration and regular dialogue on addressable TV," he added.
