Senate Would Hobble FCC Privacy Rules Even in the Future

A Senate bill would mandate that the FCC’s rules on consumer privacy on the Internet “shall have no force of effect.” The bill, introduced by Sent. Jake Flake (R-AZ), would also prevent the FCC from introducing similar regulations in the future, Snopes.com reports.
