Industry veteran Steve Piluso is departing Dentsu Aegis to join Media Storm as executive director, head of media and integration. In this newly created role, he will oversee the entire agency’s media efforts across the entertainment, travel, retail, CPG, and healthcare sectors.
He will also be responsible for developing brand strategy initiatives that utilize Media Storm’s data-driven tools, including the agency’s micro-segmenting JubaPlus. Piluso will be based at the company’s New York City office, reporting to CEO Christina Norman.
Piluso previously served as global client president at Dentsu Aegis, helming the Microsoft account. He also spent time at Omnicom’s RAPP and PHD, as well as GroupM’s Mindshare.
“Steve has a strong track-record in marrying creative thinking with data and deep consumer and media insights to drive significant results for brand marketers,” said Norman. “His expertise in blending the distinct practices of media planning and brand strategy will drive greater client results.”
