Sci-FI Channel Restructures Marketing Team

The Sci-Fi Channel has integrated its on and off-air units to create three new teams -- Marketing, Creative and Production. The division's mission will be to reposition and build the SCI FI brand to capitalize on the current public appetite for mainstream sci-fi entertainment. A new brand campaign and on-air look will be accompanied by a redesign of the scifi.com site and SCI FI Magazine. The re-launch will take place in the fourth quarter of this year, coinciding with the biggest marketing push in the Channel's history -- the launch of Steven Spielberg's epic miniseries “Taken.” Adam Stotsky will join the group as Vice President of Brand Marketing. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President at J. Walter Thompson Worldwide's Entertainment Practice, which produced and distributed brand-centered entertainment content for clients.
