Anyone claiming that female marketers never make it to the top should check out Jill McDonald, who is reported in "The Drum" today as moving from CEO of Halfords to run M&S' underperforming
clothes range. McDonald is the former CMO of McDonald's in Europe, who started her marketing career at Colgate Palmolive and British Airways.
