A story in Tuesday's edition of
MDN incorrectly reported that Optimedia has left its top research post unfilled. The company said it merely combined its contract negotiations with syndicated
research suppliers as part of a centralized effort with parent ZenithOptimedia Group, but that both Zenith and Optimedia maintain distinct staff and proprietary research. However, Tony Cardinale, who
had been serving as senior vice president-research director at Optimedia left the agency about two weeks ago, and Optimedia is searching for a replacement. -- J.M.
