Digital marketing and ad agency Didit has acquired branding and marketing shop The Halo Group. Terms were not disclosed.

In addition to branding services, The Halo Group provides creative advertising, PR, content marketing, search and social media services. The group is being integrated into the New York City offices of Didit.

“The Halo Group brings strategic talent and strengthens our foothold in Manhattan,” said Dave Pasternack, president and cofounder of Didit. “It is the latest in a long string of decisive acquisitions [10 in the last five years] on the part of Didit becoming a truly world-class ‘omnichannel’ marketing company.”

The Halo Group was founded in 1994 and cofounder Linda Passante will continue to lead the agency under its new ownership.

Headquartered in Mineola, NY, Didit also has offices in Waltham, MA and a direct mail operation in Plainview, NY.
