Taos Ski Valley (TSV) has selected Capital Goods as its AOR following a competitive pitch involving multiple local and national agencies.
This is the Denver-based agency's first account win after launching in January 2017. TSV's previous agency was Origin in Canada.
Capital Goods and Taos Ski Valley will develop a multimedia advertising campaign that comprises traditional, social and digital elements as the client prepares to transition the resort into a four-season destination.
The win also includes work for the newly launched hotel, The Blake at Taos Ski Valley, as well as future development plans.
This account partnership was struck as the resort is taking on a $300 million renovation and services upgrade. The Northern New Mexico ski destination appointed industry veteran David Norden as CEO last July to oversee the effort, which includes new premium lodging and a new pedestrian-friendly village and plaza with a river walk experience and retail shops.
Additionally, TSV is the first ski resort in the world to be designated a B Corporation, a certification issued the nonprofit B Lab that a company has met rigorous standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency.
