Viacom Thursday named former Warner Bros. chairman Robert Daly an "adviser" to the company. The announcement was made by Tom Freston, co-chief operating officer of Viacom and Brad Grey, chairman of
Paramount Pictures, and comes as the company is contemplating a restructuring that would split itself into two publicly traded companies: one headed by Freston that would include MTV Networks and
