QC Marketing, Adaptive Agree To Merge

QC Marketing and Adaptive, two digital marketing firms, have agreed to merge, The Charlotte Business Journal reports.

Based in Charlotte, SC, QC Marketing, works with startups and small businesses, offering email marketing, Web design, SEO and digital advertising services, according to the Business Journal.

Adaptive, located in Charlottesville, VA, focuses on the insurance industry, providing a range of digital branding services.

The merger grew out of a conversation between Jeff Brokaw, co-founder of QX Marketing, and Patrick Sitkins, found of Adaptive, about a year ago, the Business Journal continues.

The firms worked on a project together, then agreed to merge, hoping to “grow their resources and client bases,” the Business Journal continues.

As part of the non-cash deal, Brokaw, Sitkins and Matthew Worsman, co-founder of QC Marketing, will each own 33% of the combined company, the Business Journal adds. They will operate under the parent company called Unrivaled enterprises.

“Together, we have launched over 40 Web sites in a year’s time and have almost 30 residual clients together,” Sitkins told the Business Journal. “The merger allows for us to do more for our current clients while also positioning us to scale rapidly.”
