Denver-based ad -ech firm Choozle on Wednesday named John Schnipkoweit to the newly created position of chief technology officer.

Schnipkoweit will offer strategic direction and leadership for all technical aspects of Choozle’s product offerings, handle market expansion, and manage engineering, architecture, and partnerships for new products.

Schnipkoweit is the founder of multiple technology companies including LeapState, a consulting agency. Last year, he organized “Elevator Pitch,” an event during Denver Startup Week in which more than 50 startups pitched him while riding in an elevator. He was also Entrepreneur-in-Residence for Global Accelerator Network, and prior to that CEO and co-founder of NextStep.io, a digital health app company.
