Porn Star Gives Great.....Talk?

Here’s a way to make sex education a little more exciting. Have a porn star, Monique Alexander in this case, do the educating. Yes, she'll have them paying attention.

The press notice from LA agency Mistress, which created the campaign on behalf of AMAZE--a nonprofit partnership that aims to make sex education engaging and generally less weird for young adolescents--got my attention.

Some of the accompanying graphics would not be suitable for a family publication like MAD.

But seriously, did you know that around 90% of kids these days have been exposed to hardcore porn by age 11? Thank you, Internet!

That’s one of the points Monique makes in a PSA, “Monique Alexander Gives The Talk,” in which she encourages parents to have “the talk” with their kids about sex — before they learn about it from watching films she stars in (“Crank: High Voltage,” “A Big Tit Christmas 3” and many, as in hundreds, more).

In the ad, which was shot on what looks to be a porn set, made clear by some of the "props" she has to decide whether to use or not, Monique says having the conversation may be “uncomfortable” and “awkward.”

But better that parents step up and be the role models they are meant to be instead of letting the porn industry do the job for them, she notes.

While porn is easily accessible to anybody with a computer and an Internet connection, “nobody is explaining to [kids] that porn is a fantasy, like an action movie or a video game,” Alexander says in the ad.

She stresses that if parents don’t have the talk with their kids about sex then “we’ll [the porn industry] be their only lesson.”

The spot ends with a scantily clad and ready-for-action Monique heading to a couch followed by two hunky men who get ready to….well, like Monique says, such rendezvous are fantasies, so use your imagination.

The ad is safe for work depending on how your company defines safe. The spot, has a phallic-shaped ‘L’ in the graphics and dildos are featured in the film, per the aforementioned “props.”

Just tell your boss it’s your job to look at this stuff.

It’s a good ad with an appropriate reminder to parents that in today’s age, that “talk” needs to be had much sooner than in previous generations.
