Pizza Hut’s tie-in deal with “Spider-Man: Homecoming” includes an integration in the movie, as well as a TV ad and a limited-edition Spidey pizza box.
The QSR is using the exposure to promote the return of its Cheesy Bites pizza through July 7.
The item (“28 poppable cheese-filled bites” instead of a crust) is one of the chain’s most popular limited-time items.
The TV ad (30-second version below) facetiously compares the powers of Spider-Man and Pizza Hut delivery drivers.
