Orlando Chooses Microsoft For Email-Cloud Services

The city of Orlando, Florida, which moved its email system to the cloud in 2009, issued an RFP as its seven-year contract with Google neared expiration. After input from all stakeholders, it chose Microsoft, primarily because of “Microsoft’s firm commitment to pursue FBI Criminal Justice Information Services compliance,” said Orlando CIO Rosa Akhtarkhavari.
