Sender Of Fraudulent Emails Cops A Plea; Faces 10 Years

Federal prosecutors have secured a conviction against the perpetrator of an email scam. David Chukwuneke Adindu, a Nigerian national, copped to two conspiracy counts on Tuesday, and faces up to 10 years in prison. Prosecutors accused him of sending thousands of emails to businesses, “which appeared to be “legitimate demands for payment, in an alleged large-scale scam,” Law360 writes.
