Video ad-serving platform SpotX announced the creation of the company's global consulting arm, Advanced Solutions Group, set to help advertisers and media owners develop new strategies, with a focus on emerging, high-value technologies like OTT (over-the-top) TV ad serving.
The new division will also help design end-to-end data activation strategies, and technical set-ups and product development, all with a focus on real-time transactions.
Allen Klosowski will be the group lead, as vice president, Advanced Solutions Group. Klosowski joined SpotX in 2013 to lead mobile and connected TV initiatives.
The Advanced Solutions Group (ASG), “is designed to provide a full consultative solution between enterprise advertisers and media owners -- like providers, telcos and MVPDs [multichannel programming distributors] -- in live and linear OTT, and beyond, where there are converging business models and new business requirements,” said Klosowski. “We're seeing huge growth in live/linear OTT, so a big focus of the ASG is to assist with the technical expertise to help both sides maximize their effectiveness."”
