Publicis Media is promoting 20-year veteran John Antoniades to managing director, global business for Spark Foundry (formerly Mediavest | Spark).
In his new role, Antoniades will be responsible for global business growth, as well as managing key client relationships that are run from outside of the U.S. including Bel, UBS, Brown-Forman and King.
Reporting to U.S. CEO Chris Boothe, he will sit on the global Spark Foundry executive committee and work closely with the global executive team to ensure Spark Foundry’s new brand positioning is implemented across all international markets.
Antoniades previously led operations for Starcom Mediavest Group across MENA as CEO.
Calling him a “dynamic and accomplished leader," Boothe stated Antoniades' impressive track record demonstrates "his ability to grow markets, innovate and provide excellent leadership.”
Earlier this month, Publicis Media shelved its well-known Mediavest brand, which had been joined with Spark last year, renaming the combined entity Spark Foundry.
