Two US private equity firms are reported, by
The Times, to be lining up bids for Unilever's spreads division, which includes brands such as Flora and I Can't Believe It's Not Butter. The
newspaper claims Clayton Dubilier & Rice and Bain Capital have teamed up to put in an offer for the business which Unilever is valuing at GBP6bn.
