Microsoft Issues New Outlook Patches To Fight Vulnerabilities

Microsoft pushed out Outlook patches last week to address three new vulnerabilities. The most serious is CVE-2017- “a remote code execution bug exploited via a specially crafted file sent through Outlook,” according to Threat Post. Microsoft said that “the security update addresses the vulnerability by correcting the way that Microsoft Outlook parses specially crafted email messages.”
