Cuebiq Adds IoT 'Audiences' To Track Connected Device Usage

Location data company Cuebiq on Tuesday introduced the Internet of things (IOT) Audiences, which helps harness information from the continued use of connected devices.

Audiences, which will include stats on which devices consumers use most often, can be both layered onto Cuebiq’s location data as well as being used for brands' own cross-device audience targeting.

The new IoT data sets were developed through Cuebiq’s SDK technology and user base of 61 million U.S. smartphone owners. Audiences can detect when a user’s mobile device is paired with a connected device like Amazon’s Alexa, offering marketers additional insight into potential consumers.

"Without insight into IoT usage data, marketers could miss a large chunk of potential business,” said Antonio Tomarchio, CEO, Cuebiq.
