Independent agency Scoppechio is acquiring a majority stake in experiential agency CivitasNow to help flesh out its full-service portfolio. Terms were not disclosed.
CivitasNow's roster of clients includes Brown-Forman, Amazon, Express and Smart Columbus. The Columbus, Ohio-based agency recently executed its largest experiential marketing project to date during the 2017 MLS All-Star Week in Chicago.
Founded in 1987, Scoppechio's client portfolio includes Brown-Forman, Darden Restaurants, Yum! Brands, Gold Star Chili, Coney Island, GE Appliances, LG&E and KU Energy, Baptist Health System and Community Health Systems (CHS).
The shop is based in Louisville, Kentucky.
CivitasNow will continue to operate under its own brand, but Jacob Taylor, CEO of CivitasNow, will now report to Jerry Preyss, CEO of Scoppechio.
