Accenture Marketing Sector Buying Spree Continues

Accenture Interactive’s buying spree continued this week with its acquisition of marketing agency Wire Stone. Terms were not disclosed.

The deal follows the consultant’s acquisition last week of Brand Learning. Last month it bought user experience specialist Clearhead.

Founded in 2000, Wire Stone has nearly 200 employees in the U.S. and offices in New York, Chicago, San Francisco, Seattle and other locations.
It has worked for various brands, including Microsoft, HP Enterprise and HP Inc., PayPal and eBay.

The Wire Stone offering includes design, strategy, user experience and data-driven consumer insights.

“It takes diverse talent and culture to deliver on Accenture Interactive’s mission of helping our clients build the best experiences on the planet. With the acquisition of Wire Stone, we are bringing together a top team of technologists, strategists, consultants and designers to do just that,” stated Accenture Interactive chief Brian Whipple.
