Lauren Iannotti Named EIC 'Rachael Ray Every Day'

Top editors have been disappearing from mastheads, but September isn’t ending on a low note.

Rachael Ray Every Day is getting a new editor-in-chief and content director, with the promotion of Lauren Iannotti.

Iannotti is succeeding Lauren Purcell, who was tapped to be editor-in-chief of Rachael Ray Every Day in January. She left Meredith Corp. in the last few weeks, after an eight-month stint at the publication. Purcell was previously executive editor at Condé Nast’s Self.

Iannotti, who was formerly executive editor of Rachael Ray Every Day magazine, will expand her responsibilities to manage editorial content and design of the magazine.

She will report directly to Carey Witmer, EVP and group publisher of the Meredith Food Group.

Before joining Meredith, Iannotti served as executive editor of Brides at Condé Nast, as well as nearly 20 years editing at Esquire, Marie Claire, O, The Oprah Magazine and Glamour.

“Lauren’s experience in the women's category fits perfectly with the lifestyle orientation of the Rachael Ray Every Day brand,” stated Witmer.

The magazine is published 10 times a year with a rate base of 1.7 million.
