The EU is taking Ireland to court over illegal state aid offered to Apple by the government's failure to demand and recover €13bn of unpaid taxes.
Sky News reports that the Irish
government does not share the EU's position that failure to charge Apple the required amount of back tax amounts to illegal state aid.
