The UK's information watchdog, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) is at the centre of the EU's attempts to get clarification from Facebook on what it intends to do over sharing data between
the social site and its WhatsApp messaging service.
The Guardian reveals that a working group led by the ICO was behind this week's warning to the social media giant.
