Russian Hackers Targeted Thousands Of Gmail Accounts

Over several years, hackers backed by the Russian government tried to break into the inboxes of nearly 5,000 Gmail users, The Associated Press reports. Along with members of Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign, the Gmail accounts belonged to “Ukrainian officers, Russian opposition figures, U.S. defense contractors and thousands of others of interest to the Kremlin,” according to the AP.
