Hilgers Named CEO At Advance-owned Agency POP

Seattle-based agency POP has appointed RJ Hilgers CEO, succeeding POP Founder Bill Predmore, who started the company in 1996 and has served as CEO since the agency’s inception. POP, which was acquired in 2013 by media company Advance Publications, which operates Condé Nast and other companies. POP has more than 150 employees in Seattle and Costa Rica working with clients including Microsoft, Target, F5 Networks and Adobe. For the past two years, Hilgers has served as POP's CMO leading client services, business development and marketing. Earlier in his career, he spent time at SapientRazorfish working with brands including Apple, Intel, MGM Resorts, Microsoft and Walmart. Predmore will stick around, joining POP’s Board of Directors as chairman.
