Bannon Gets Sirius, Again

Satellite radio giant SiriusXM is adding significantly more programming from the conservative nationalist website Breitbart on its “Patriot” channel.

As part of the expansion, Breitbart executive chairman and former White House adviser Steve Bannon will return as a regular co-host of the morning show “Breitbart News Daily.”

Bannon will also lead the channel’s coverage of the 2018 midterm elections, and the 2020 presidential election, the company said in a release.

In addition, Patriot will add a weeknight Breitbart-branded show “Breitbart News Tonight,” from 9 p.m. to 12 a.m., hosted by Joel Pollak and Rebecca Mansour.

On weekends, the channel will add new shows in 2018 hosted by “political thought leaders,” including former White House staffer Sebastian Gorka, Washington editor Matt Boyle, national security editor Frances Martel and Texas editor Brandon Darby.

The SiriusXM Patriot channel has advertising breaks in its programs, though no details about sponsors were available as of Tuesday.
