Ford Gets Greeked in 'Geek,' Other Product Placements of the Week

The beauties competed to see who can change a tire and take care of other car maintenance tasks on some Ford Mustangs during the June 8th episode of the WB's "Beauty and the Geek." What was more interesting than the task itself was that Ford's logo was made unreadable on the cars, even if the distinct form of the Mustangs were still eminently recognizable.

That's just one of the featured product placements of the past week brought to you by MediaDailyNews and branded entertainment researcher iTVX.

Other notable placements include the following:

Jimmy Fallon takes a ride in the Pontiac Solstice in the June 9th airing of the "2005 MTV Movie Awards."

Dunkin' Donuts steps up to the plate and helps the Fab Five make over a Little League ballpark devastated by Hurricane Charley in the June 7th episode of BRAVO's "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy."

Bright high-school seniors compete for a full college scholarship in ABC's new reality series, "The Scholar." In the June 6th premiere, the scholars are provided with laptops with Intel Centrino technology to help in all facets of their research and studying needs. Their challenge is to solve three different puzzles around the USC campus and e-mail the answers using the laptops.
