Sponsorship Spending, Led By Sports Category, To Hit Record

Calling it a “rebound year” — and led by such companies as PepsiCo, Coca-Cola, Anheuser-Busch InBev and MillerCoors — sponsorship spending in North America is projected to reach a record $24.2 billion and $65.8 billion worldwide. Sports will continue to be the leading category, with 70% of North America sponsorship marketing in 2018 in the category, topping $17 billion.
