Prime Minister Theresa May has echoed the promise of her Culture Secretary to oppose the House of Lords decision to give Leveson 2 the green light and to pass Section 40 of the Crime and Courts Act
2013. As
Press Gazette explains, the latter would make newspapers not signed up to an official watchdog responsible for both sides' legal fees in any libel action, regardless of outcome.
