FreshAddress, Inc. a provider of email marketing database services, is offering a free hygiene tool to help marketers evaluate the health of their email lists.

Free List Check allows firms to check their email lists for problems such as: 

• Spamtraps
• Forced-sign-ups
• Invalid email addresses

The objective is to ensure that marketers' email lists "are problem-free and safe to send," states Austin Bliss, president of FreshAddress.

He adds: "Proper email list hygiene can make or break any company.” Problematic and bouncing email addresses can destroy a company’s email ROI, FreshAddress contends.
