Fueled by strong ratings from original series The System, Forensic Files and Mugshots, Court TV ended August 2002 with a .8 primetime rating, up 17% compared to its August 2001 .7 rating. Its average household delivery of 551,000 represented an increase of 29% versus the year-ago total of 428,000 homes. For the women 18-49 and women 25-54 demographics, Court TV has grown 11% and 27%, respectively (141,000 to 156,000 and 164,000 to 209,000). Court TV's signature series Forensic Files tallied a .8 rating in August, averaging 597,000 homes for the month. The network's original documentaries Mugshots and The System were strong performers, both tallying .9 ratings during August. These two programs attracted an average 634,000 viewing homes for the month. Court TV's September 2002 subscriber total is 73,030,000 homes, 15% higher than the network's September 2001 distribution figure
