NAB To Launch Streaming Summit

The National Association of Broadcasters will launch an industry summit focused on streaming video, to be produced by Dan Rayburn, a streaming media analyst.

The first Streaming Summit will take place during the NAB Show in Las Vegas April 11. The one-day conference will be held at The Westgate Hotel, and will feature three tracks, with speakers and topics now being planned. It will expand to two days in New York in October during the NAB Show New York, and will be held at the Javits Center.

NAB Executive Vice President of Conventions and Business Operations Chris Brown says in a statement that the trade organization wanted to create the summit "as a forum for education and industry collaboration around streaming.”
