Tesla Roadster In Space Drove People To Check Snopes

Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk spent Tuesday afternoon shooting a Tesla Roadster into the deep abyss of the universe in a rocket. So many people questioned the action that it wound up on fact-checking website Snopes. Aside from the mass, runaway, unsubstantiated internet conspiracy theories, there were people who thought the photos and video footage of Musk’s space car and space dummy weren’t real.
