Otter Media, the digital media company owned by AT&T and The Chernin Group, has named Tony Goncalves CEO. 

Goncalves previously served as CEO of AT&T's digital brands, which included oversight of Otter Media, and of the DirecTV Now over-the-top streaming service. Peter Chernin, CEO of Chernin Group, said that Otter began talking to Goncalves about coming on full-time about six months ago.

Otter Media owns a number of streaming video services and production companies, including Roosterteeth, Crunchyroll, Fullscreen and Hello Sunshine. The company says that its videos generated 100 billion views in 2017, averaging 90 million unique viewers each month.
