'WWD,' Penske Media Promote Executives

Yesterday, Penske Media Company announced the promotion of several of its executives.

Paul Jowdy, who was previously senior vice president and group publisher at WWD, is now Chief Business Officer and publisher of WWD and Fairchild Live. Before coming to Penske Media, Jowdy served as publisher of Every Day with Rachel Ray, and spent 14 years at Conde Nast, where he was vice president and publisher of Details, publisher of Bon Appetit, associate publisher of Vanity Fair and advertising director of Conde Nast Traveler.

Previously vice president, new ventures, and general manager of summits and events at Fairchild Live, Amber Mundinger has been named senior vice president of live media and strategic partnerships at Rolling Stone. Mundinger will be responsible for the development of new revenue streams, areas of investment that pose high strategic value to the organization and the management of summits and events.

Prior to her posts at Penske Media, Mundinger worked in strategic partnerships and events developing partner relationships with companies like American Express, Google and Clear Channel Media + Entertainment Group.

Finally, Alexis Coyle, who previously served as associate vice president, new ventures and sponsors at Fairchild Live, has been named vice president and general manager of Fairchild Live and WWD.

Before coming to WWD, Coyle was sales and marketing manager at Synapse Group, a Time Inc. company, and also worked in corporate partnerships for Scholastic Publishing.
