Helder Santo is departing R/GA to join Wunderman as president, New York beginning June 18. 

Reporting to Seth Solomons, CEO Wunderman North America, Santo will be responsible for overseeing some 250 workers and setting the strategic vision for the WPP-owned agency's flagship office while continuing to prioritize growth. 

He replaces Jamie Gallo, who had been president of Wunderman New York since 2014 and who left to pursue other opportunities.

Most recently, Santo served as vice president, group managing director at R/GA where he worked with clients including Samsung, Equinox, Johnson & Johnson, Mercedes-Benz and Shopify. He also held senior posts at Digitas and mcgarrybown where he oversaw strategic marketing and product/service development initiatives on behalf of clients including American Express and JPMorganChase.
